SANTA PAULA, Calif.  (November 29, 2011) —LOGOS Management Software, Inc. a developer of leading fund accounting and church management software, today announced it has launched a completely upgraded Online Giving, a key utility of LOGOS’ Ministry Connection product.

As members across all demographics continue to adopt online giving methods in droves (see data from the Winkler Group), the shift to Web-based giving presents churches with new opportunities to increase donations and engagement within their communities. The growing importance of Online Giving paired with the competitive church technology landscape compelled LOGOS to deliver what is essentially a fresh and highly functional Online Giving product that delivers the best practices churches need to better steward their resources. 

Various new or improved elements of Ministry Connection’s Online Giving include:

  • Updated, cleaner interface built on a new platform
  • Options for one-time giving or recurring pledges for users
  • Users may view, print, and email contribution statements
  • Guest donations let members give without setting up a user account
  • Complete guest donor review capabilities give staff the ability to create new records or merge existing records eliminating double entries in the database
  • Automated email notification for users with cards due to expire
  • Contributions sync with LOGOS’ church management software, LOGOS II

Current users of Online Giving can get the new interface by filling out the form located at/connect+form. Once the form has been submitted, a LOGOS technician will contact the user to confirm the date of the switch and answer any additional questions.
